Reverse-proxy & automatic TLS — lab
The need. Run several applications on one host, each reachable over HTTPS, without juggling ports or renewing certificates by hand.
What I configure
- Traefik / Nginx as a reverse proxy: per-domain/subdomain routing, load balancing.
- Automatic TLS via Let's Encrypt (ACME), renewal without downtime.
- Hardening: security headers, HSTS, HTTP→HTTPS redirects, rate limiting.
- Dynamic service discovery (Docker labels) and middlewares.
