Coolify — self-hosted PaaS, in production
The idea. Get the comfort of a Heroku/Vercel (push-to-deploy, managed databases, logs) but on my own infrastructure — control over cost, data and sovereignty.
What I set up (in production)
- Installed and operated Coolify on Linux servers, connected to Git repositories.
- Push-to-deploy: automatic builds, Docker images, per-branch environments.
- Managed databases, storage, environment variables and webhooks.
- Automatic TLS (Let's Encrypt), logs, restarts and backups.
- Used to host real projects (including IO Life Science) — not just a test bed.
What it demonstrates. Full DevOps autonomy: giving teams a modern deployment experience on controlled, low-cost infrastructure.
